Argentine Tango Classes with Jennifer Olson in Belltown

Beginning Argentine Tango, Wednesdays 7:30 – 8:30 pm:
This beginning class will focus on an in-depth analysis of tango
fundamentals. The instructor will emphasize quality vs. quantity, so
it may be appropriate for more advanced dancers as well. Whether you
are just beginning or a veteran, come join us at the strategically
located Belltown Dance Studio for an experience that is sure to
heighten your confidence, creativity, and body awareness with this
dynamic and social dance.
Beyond Beginning Argentine Tango, Wednesdays 8:30 – 9:30 pm: This
class will solidify beginning concepts learned in the first few weeks
of classes, but also delve further into the depths of Argentine tango
with simple movements that really get you dancing. After this class,
you should have enough vocabulary to feel like you can truly dance
this dance. We will explore the movements in both open and close
embrace, so you will be ready to make your appearance at the regular
dances in town.
Intermediate Argentine Tango, Wednesdays 9:30 – 10:30 pm: This class
is appropriate for all dancers above a complete beginning level.
Subject matter will rotate, so students may take this class more than
once. Subjects include, but are not limited to, turns, sacadas,
boleos, ganchos, musicality, vals, and milonga. We will be working in
both close and open embrace. This class is $65 per person regardless
of when you pre-register.
$55 per person for each 5-week series (Beginning and Beyond Beginning)
when pre-registered and pre-paid by Oct. 21st or $65 after Oct. 21st.
Pre-registration is highly recommended as this class has limited space
available.
